Found Objects

For this project we were given a map in which we had to go and find objects around the streets which we could take. Next we had to photograph these in a scenario and I chose to focus on plants. I wanted people to think and understand the consequences of dropping litter and how this effects the surroundings we live in.

Urban vs Rural

The first image is of Lincoln Cathedral and I changed the colour contrast. While the second image I took at Leeds Festival and layered this on top of my original image. The idea came from looking at the city picture and noticing there wasn't much greenery visible. — The first image is of Lincoln Cathedral and I changed the colour contrast. While the second image I took at Leeds Festival and layered this on top of my original image. The idea came from looking at the city picture and noticing there wasn’t much greenery visible.

Here, I also stuck with my theme of merging the city scape and countryside. As you can see the traffic is all driving into the distance and I wanted to capture the sense of escaping the polluted city.

Again, I blended photos together of city traffic and the rural country. The train tracks are leading into the countryside.
